Allcargo Logistics Expands Transshipment Network To 71 Centres Nationwide

Allcargo Logistics ecommerce has announced a major expansion and restructuring of its operational network, increasing its Transshipment Centres from 21 to 71 as part of a nationwide transformation aimed at enhancing efficiency, connectivity, and service reliability. The move follows organisational restructuring and the integration of the company’s domestic supply chain businesses, including express distribution and consultative logistics.
The expanded network, covering nearly 100 per cent of India’s GDP geographies, is positioned to significantly upgrade regional reach and operational predictability across the North, South, East, and West. The company has also introduced a new four-tier classification system—Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze—based on daily tonnage handling capacity, creating a sharper operational structure designed to optimise freight planning and streamline movement across the network.
Ketan Kulkarni, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Allcargo Logistics, said: “The recategorisation of our Transshipment centres from 21 to 71 marks a pivotal shift in strengthening our nationwide logistics architecture. This transformation is also driven by the strong synergies between our express and consultative logistics business, which together enhance our ability to deliver faster turnaround, deeper market penetration, and a consistently superior customer experience. Most importantly, it strengthens connectivity and service reliability across the country, especially into smaller cities and high-growth regional markets.”
With synchronised routing, improved operational flows, and greater agility in infrastructure deployment, the revamped network model is expected to significantly reduce turnaround times while providing seamless service across both express and consultative logistics operations. Allcargo Logistics said the upgraded Transshipment Centres will reinforce multimodal integration and end-to-end delivery capabilities, supporting businesses across India’s economic corridors.
Following the NCLT-approved restructuring, Allcargo Logistics now houses its domestic supply chain business—covering express distribution, air freight, e-commerce logistics, and first and last-mile delivery—under a unified framework. With a network reaching 99 per cent of India’s districts and a growing footprint across Asia, the company aims to build a future-ready logistics ecosystem backed by digital innovation and strong ESG commitments. The group has pledged to achieve 100 per cent carbon neutrality by 2040.
